We are looking for a highly capable system engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be an intelligent, talented, honest and self-motivated individual who wants to totally commit themselves to an exciting career opportunity.
Catapult engineers enjoy a good team environment, working on interesting projects, and undertaking a variety of tasks. The role is based in our Auckland North Shore office, with occasional requirements to carry out site work both domestically and internationally.
Our ideal candidate has:
- At least two years experience, ideally with SCADA systems or related technologies (Process Control)
- A relevant tertiary qualification (with top results)
BE (Electrical or Electronic, Computer Systems or Software Engineering) or BSc (Computer Science)
- Good communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
- Lots of initiative and the ability to think “outside the box”
- Good problem-solving skills
The following skill sets will be an advantage:
- Familiarity with electricity industry SCADA telemetry (RTUs) systems
- Microsoft operating system and network skills
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
- taking a lead role in design, implementation and commissioning configuration of new project SCADA systems
- providing pre-sales technical support
- providing post-sales customer technical support
